The hippest kids on the West Coast and fellow wordpresser, Kev and Moye platonically share a blog. And on their blog, they are currently engaged in a raging flame war betweem themselves over whether hapa model Jessica Michibata is attractive, whose appellation Kevin has designated as simply “Hot Girl.”
Jessica has a blog herself where she primarily posts candid photos of herself partying, hanging out and (this one’s for Nick and Kaizar) occasionally hitting the stripper pole. Kevin added her to his blogroll under the title “Hot Girl.” I added her to my blogroll, because she seems like an interesting person to talk to about Al Gore’s new documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Moye is decidedly anti-Jessica. To Moye, “hot girl” is simply a hot mess. On the other hand, Kevin is obsessively pro-Jessica. Moye is convinced Kevin is blind. Kevin is convinced Moye is blind. I say, can we leave the optically-challenged and visually-impaired out of this debate?
What do I think? I think we’re all beautiful, each and every one of us.

What!? She looks so typically “hot” that I bet she has zero personality. Okay, so I can’t really read what she writes about it, but they’re all just captions for photographs OF HERSELF with ugly people. Can we say self-absorbed?
And her hair is fake.
I say all the full on Asian girls are way more beautiful than models who are only successful because they have Caucasian features.

I think that she is pretty although I do not agree that Asian girls who possess “Western” features, whether it’d be genetics or surgery, appears to be admired more than the girls who have the more stronger Asian features. I think Asian countries who are seeking out models should seek out those who are more naturally beautiful representing more of themselves and their country.

She’s ok. Jessica Michibata looks like a horse: plumpy nose and long face. Her face is actually big compared to her friends that stand next to her. I know a couple of ladies who are half Japanese and I like their features in comparison. If I have to pick my favorite half Asian model, it would be Jun Hasegawa. She has more character. My gf loves her and it seems that this girl attracts BOTH sexes, which is a plus for me!
