MRod Nation sends a best of luck to Kaizar who, inspired by the likes of Oprah and past celebrity marathon runners, will be running his first marathon this weekend out there in San Francisco.
Kaizar, I’ve collected a few videos from which you can draw motivation for your upcoming race, starting with the trailer for the movie starring your state’s governor.
1. The message in The Running Man is that no matter what happens, at the least your marathon doesn’t involve a dystopic government sending assassins in motorbikes and cars to kill you.
2. Of course this entry wouldn’t be complete without the famous training montage scene from Rocky I. I think you should try to pysch out your fellow racers by doing alternating one-handed pushups.
3. And in honor of San Francisco here’s a clip from Top Gun, the inspirational film that broke gay barriers everywhere.
