Allegedly BlackBerry plans on rolling out a touchscreen phone (awesomly codenamed Thunder). It will only have four physical buttons and will launch as an exclusive on Verizon and Vodafone.
Disclosure: I’m an unabashed Apple fanboy (supershocker I know), but I think one of the positive consequences arising from Apple’s entrance into the mobile market is that they are forcing other cell phone companies to focus on innovation. Or so I had hoped. So far, what I’ve noticed is a lot of copycats and (bad) imitators, without much out-of-the-box innovative solutions or features. I hope this new BlackBerry phone lives up to its name and brings the thunda!
