Paul Smith T-Shirt Design Stolen from Image on Flickr

Guy walks into the Soho Paul Smith shop (one of my favorite brands if not wayy beyond my pauper budget) and spots one of his designs he posted on Flickr….on a $235 shirt in the store.

I don’t actually feel wronged. I do feel that some designer for the Paul Smith brand committed an embarrassing act of laziness. This should not be excused and I imagine they will be dealt with accordingly. I don’t get a ton of blog traffic but I would be surprised if this didn’t eventually get back to the Paul Smith organization. And Mr. Smith, if you are reading this, Lance and I have always wanted to spend a week in London. Oh, and I am a 42L.

I’d be pissed, but I too would forgive in exchange for a trip to London plus a suit.

Update: It also reminds me of the album cover art for Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky, which is very excellent. If you don’t have it, I highly recommend you download it.
