A group art project for my readers and friends:
Snap a photo of a single shelf on your bookshelf. The only rule is that you can’t manipulate the shelf by adding or removing things, so no removing your copy of the Da Vinci Code. Take a photo of it as is.
Send me a link in the comments to your photo or email it to me. In a couple weeks I’ll compile and post all the submissions. Above is mine.

Funny how we both have Kazuo Ishiguro & random Japanese toys.
It’s not a coincidence that we both have Murakami though, since I believe in order to continue carrying the urbane Asian card you need have at least ONE of his books on one of your shelves.
Oooh, I’m gonna do this. And I’m glad my collection of Star Wars galaxy fiction is hidden away at my parent’s house.
