I blogged about this artist Dustin Shuler last year, but I just learned that he passed away a few weeks ago on May 4. The above piece is titled “Death of an era.” His best known sculpture, “Spindle” had a cameo in “Wayne’s World.” It was dismantled in 2008 to make room for a Walgreens.
