On Saturday I was invited on a bicycle tour of gourmet shops around downtown Manhattan that was organized by a friend of a friend. One of the participants wore this Evel Knievel helmet which I thought was just way too cool for school. The age of the owner of this helmet that I coveted? Seven.

Tarp Surfing

No, tarp surfing does not refer to irresponsible banks riding a wave back to profitability on the backs of taxpayers vis-a-vis the TARP handout. Instead I’m talking about recreating the sensation of surfing using skateboards or longboards and blue tarps. The effect as you can see in the video is startling awesome. I have a longboard. Anyone want to provide the tarp?
