Weekend Update

I had an amazing long weekend – unfortunately no photos.

Thursday: Saw “Rain,” a Broadway play that was essentially a Beatles cover band.

Friday: Date with a dancer that took us from Ace Hotel to Living Room to 3rd Floor Cafe.

Saturday: Classy drinks with a few friends at the cocktail “speakeasy” bar Raines Law Room.

Sunday: Bought some Nestle ice cream drum sticks, got caught up on MTV’s “I Used to be Fat,” and had a marathon Call of Duty session.

Monday: Brunch with Chris at The Smile and my monthly supper club held at Northern Spy.

Highlight of weekend: Obviously my 33 kill, 7 deaths Call of Duty match.

Booty Cam

Australian actress hotties Jessie Gurunathan and Reanin Johannink attach a hidden cam to their bounty to the capture The Looks. Look for a surprise Jesus appearance.

Juxtaposition

Heel belongs to the owner of the paw, a standard poodle Gem who was in New York City for the Westminster dog show earlier this week. The photo is also very apropos with New York Fashion Week that took place at the same time.

Last Night’s Party

This is what my Last Night’s Party entries aspire to be when it grows up: Guy crashes Paris Hilton’s birthday party in LA and ends up taking the birthday cake home.

First International Trailer for Norwegian Wood

The Guardian has the first international trailer for Anh Hung Tran’s adaptation of “Norwegian Wood,” which was my first introduction into the brilliant magical worlds created by Haruki Murakami.

I do have to acknowledge Ashleigh for introducing me to him some years ago. I think we’re still friends. I hope we are.

Also, while I think this is antithetical to the author’s philosophy, there’s a Haruki Murakami Reading Challenge.
