Six Word Tales

Inspired by Hemingway’s famously short story that spanned just six words, “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Wired asked sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers (and one William Shatner) from all media to submit their succinct six word tale. Here’s a sampling.

Failed SAT. Lost scholarship. Invented rocket.
